Trent Alexander-Arnold’s move to Real Madrid have been met with mixed reactions from Liverpool fans and it seems the England international will get more heat as time progresses.
Alexander-Arnold agreed a move to join Real Madrid following the expiration of his Liverpool contract and the 26-year-old was unveiled last week.
During his introductory press conference, Alexander-Arnold stunned fans and the media by speaking fluent Spanish.

Alexander-Arnold who has now begun training with Real Madrid ahead of the World Club Cup group stage matches has been called out by one particular Liverpool source that has left people somewhat perplexed.
Alexander-Arnold posted a video of his move to Spain on X with clips including his journey on the flight and moments from the press conference.
However, the post was met with mixed reactions. Surprisingly, Liverpool John Lennon Airport’s X account his video and said: “He even flew from Manchester.”
The account holder put a snake emoji with it and posted it to their official account. In less than an hour, it has been viewed by thousands with hundreds of accounts replying to the post. The post was subsequently changed from a snake emoji to a roll of the eyes but not before fans could screengrab it.
Alexander-Arnold will be eager to put all the backlash behind him as he begins a new adventure under the guidance of former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso.
Xabi Alonso has been appointed as the head coach of Madrid and this will prove to be a major boost for Alexander-Arnold who traditionally plays at right back.
