Massimiliano Allegri shares massive update about his Juventus future
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has given an update about his future with the Italian club noting that the decision will be made by the club officials.
Massimiliano Allegri returned to Juventus in 2021 after two years away from the dug out but has failed to overpower Inter Milan who are in top form.
With reports claiming he might leave in the summer, Allegri during his pre-match press conference on Friday on the eve of an away derby against Torino cleared all doubt.
Speaking on club owner John Elkann, who had said on Thursday that the next season will be ‘Year Zero’ for Juventus under the guidance of new sports director Cristiano Giuntoli,
Allegri said , “He [Elkann] said important words that highlighted what had been said three years ago.”
“We had to include NextGen players into the first team every season and make the club sustainable, and I think this was done. The work will continue in the coming years with the director, Giuntoli.
The Livorno-born coach who faced several questions about his future added, “Right now, we must only think about our targets; they go above everything else,” he insisted.
“I think that with the Champions League qualification, €100m is at stake, so right now, this is the main objective, and everyone is involved. As for the future, as always, the club will decide what is best for Juventus. Now, the best thing to do is to stick together and play for this target.”
Massimiliano Allegri’s contract will expire in 2025, there are growing reports that Juventus want to part company with the 56-year-old.
