Man City Make Jack Grealish Decision After Season Ending Injury

Manchester City gave reportedly make a decision on Jack Grealish’s future after he was ruled out for the remainder of the 25/26 season.

Grealish left Manchester City in the summer to join Everton on a season long loan. His loan spell has been impressive, with the England international scoring twice and assisting six in 22 appearances across all competitions for David Moyes’ team.

However, the 30-year-old will miss the rest of the season after having surgery on a foot surgery he suffered during Everton’s 1-0 win over Aston Villa last month.

Taking to social media, Grealish wrote: “Didn’t want the season to end like this, but that’s football, gutted. Surgery done and now all focus on getting back fit.

“I know for sure I will come back fitter, stronger and better than before. The support I’ve had since coming to this unbelievable club has meant the world to me.”

He added: “The staff, my teammates and especially the fans have been incredible and I absolutely love representing this club.

“I’ll be backing the lads all the way and doing everything I can to get back as soon as possible. Thank you again for all the love, it means so much.”

Reports from TeamTalk have now claim City are looking to loan Grealish out again next season despite the player entering the final year of his deal, with Everton said to be at the front of the queue.

In addition, with just one year left on his contract, Grealish could join Everton on a free transfer at the end of the 26/27 season as he is said to be keen on staying with the Toffees.

Manchester City have lots of option upfront and it’s looking like Grealish has played his last game for the club.
