Premier League giants to rival Bayern Munich for Morgan Rogers’ signature

Bundesliga giant Bayern Munich have join the race to sign Morgan Rogers in the summer transfer window, with Asenal, Chelsea and Manchester United also ready to test Aston Villa’s resolve.

Rodgers has proved to be an excellent addition to the Villa squad since moving to Villa Park from Championship Middlesbrough in February 2024. With 24 goals and 23 assists since the start of last season, his performance have caught the attention of the big teams.

The England international signed a new contract extension in November – but that has not deterred interest from some of their Premier League’s rivals and Europe’s elite.

According to Mirror Football, Bayern Munich are a huge admirers of Rogers, with his performance in last season’s Champions League catching their attention.

The Bundesliga champion are eager to offer him the chance to play in Germany under Vincent Kompany.

Villa are expected to demand in excess of £80million to part ways with the 2024-25 PFA Young Player of the Season, but will prioritize not selling their best assets.

Manchester United are working on targets for the left wing position as well as an overhaul of their central midfield options in a summer where they will also appoint a permanent manager.

Arsenal are also expected to refresh their attack in the summer and are long-term admirers of Rogers, who was linked with a stunning transfer last summer.

The Gunners are prepared to let go of either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli, to finance a move for Rogers and space for him within their squad.
