Hansi Flick holds emergency talk with Barca squad, singles out Lewandowski
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has reportedly hold an emergency meeting with his squad following their disappointing loss to Las Palmas.
Despite starting the season in a convincing manner, Barcelona in the past few weeks have struggled in La Liga. Hansi Flick’s team suffered a shock 2-1 loss to Las Palmas just days after they lost to Real Sociedad and drew with Celta Vigo.
Though the Catalonia club are still on top of the La Liga, Real Madrid are not far behind.

According to Marca, Flick on Monday held an emergency meeting with his squad. The report claimed Flick analysed the performance against Las Palmas with his team, and subsequently delayed training by an hour.
It was also reported that Lewandowski was singled out for a one-to-one conversation on the training pitch. The Poland international failed to score against either Sociedad or Las Palmas, though he did hit the net in the 2-2 draw with Celta.
In total, he has scored 15 La Liga goals in 15 games this term and has been central to the club’s surge to the top of the table.
Barca are one point clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table but Los Blancos have a game in hand on their Clasico rivals, handing them a significant advantage in the title race.
The Spanish giant will be eager to bounce back with a match against Mallorca on Tuesday before a trip to Real Betis this weekend.
