Man Utd set sight on young midfielder, willing to offer £35m transfer fee

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Rocco Reitz, with £35m transfer fee set aside for the deal.

Despite starting the season on a low, the arrival of Michael Carrick as interim coach has given the Red Devils a new identity. United are looking like they would secure a place in Europe next season and plans are underway to strengthen the team.

According to a report from Fichajes, United are prepared to spend around £35 million to sign the player. Red Devils hierarchy believes he is a modern midfielder and could prove an excellent acquisition for the club.

23-year-old, Reitz has the physical and technical attributes for English football, and he will look to establish himself as an important player for Manchester United.

The Premier League giant are looking at bringing in a new midfielder, with Casemiro to leave at the end of the current season and Bruno Fernandes yet to sign a new long-term contract.

United are also looking at bringing in new players to help defensively and it’s left to be seen the players that will make way at the end of the season.
