Pogba next destination revealed despite Barcelona, Marseille links

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba might not be making a move to Barcelona or Marseille as he looks to start a new adventure elsewhere.
Pogba was handed a four-year suspension last year after he failed a post-match doping test after a 3-0 win over Udinese in August 2023. However, that ban was officially reduced to just 18 months last week, following a successful appeal to the European Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The France international is now set to be back on the pitch in 2025 but not with his current club, Juventus.
Still under contract with Juventus until the summer of 2026, the Seria A side are hoping to reach an agreement to terminate the deal.
On his full salary, reported to be in the region of €8m plus significant bonuses, Pogba is one of Juve’s highest earners and the club are looking at cutting costs.
Also, the club believe there is plenty of competition for places in attacking midfield in Thiago Motta’s Juventus project and Pogba might not see a place in the team.
Pogba has since been linked with a move to Barcelona and Marseille. However, the Frenchman might be moving to the MLS rather than continue playing in Europe.
According to Tuesday’s print edition of Tuttosport. An exact club has not yet been specified, but this morning’s reports nod to the fact that he owns a property in Miami.
Lionel Messi also plays in Miami and it’s left to see if Pogba will join Inter Miami or he will consider joining another team in the MLS.
