Man Utd set to hijack move for Real Madrid’s top transfer target

Manchester United are prepared to make another smart move over Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
United have began a new era under Ruben Amorim and some players have been identified as a perfect fit for his team. Topping the list of players identified is Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies, 24.
With Real Madrid also struggling in their defense line due to multiple injuries, Davies has been linked with a move to the Spanish giant.
However, Manchester United have ‘already made informal enquiries’ with Davies possibly open to leaving Bayern ‘as a free agent’ next summer, according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.

Davies has played nine Bundesliga games since Vincent Kompany took charge of the Bavarians but could look to move on when his current Bayern contract expires this summer.
The talented left back would help both United and Madrid defensively and going forward. Davies’ agent recently issued an update on his client’s situation, according to Fabrizio Romano.
“Done deal with Real Madrid? This is NOT true,” Nedal Huoseh explained on November 15.
“Though the player has many options, we have not agreed terms with any club.
“[A] New deal at FC Bayern could also be an option. Any reports suggesting otherwise are incorrect”.
Davies is ranked among the best left backs in the world, though Bayern Munich are willing to offer him a new deal, various reports claim he’s seeking a new challenge elsewhere.
