Jack Grealish tops Man City exit list as Pep Guardiola seeks a new era

Manchester City have struggled all season and their recent exit from the UEFA Champions League following their 6-3 aggregate defeat to Real Madrid will shower in a new era at the club.
City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly willing to sanction a summer clear-out of eight senior stars, with Jack Grealish among the group of unwanted players.
While lots of City players have failed to play at the highest level this season, Grealish is expected to be one of the first names to leave in this summer after struggling to get in Guardiola’s team of late.
The former Aston Villa star – who cost the club £100m in 2021 – has only made six starts in the Premier League this season.

Grealish is one of ten City players who will be aged 30 or over at the end of the year, with many of them approaching the end of their prime days.
Alongside the England international, City are expected to listen to offers for Kevin de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Ilkay Gundogan, Ederson and Kyle Walker.
Walker left for AC Milan on loan in January after telling Guardiola he wanted a new challenge and is not expected to return to the club. Also, De Bruyne has been forced to spend time on the bench and might listen to offers from Saudi Arabia clubs in the summer.
City are expected to start a new era under Guardiola with new signings defenders Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis, midfielder Nico Gonzalez and forward Omar Marmoush expected to play a major role.
The Citizens are also expected to move for Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz and Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiasso in the summer. .
