Arsenal plot £80m move for Bournemouth star
Arsenal are reportedly interested in singing Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi as Mikel Arteta aims to build an unstoppable frontline.
The Gunners during the summer transfer window saw more departures than arrivals in the final third. Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus were allowed to leave with Christos Tzolis, the only player added to the attack.
Arteta is now searching for a world-class presence to lead the line.
According to BBC, Arsenal are back tracking 80m-rated 20-year-old forward Kroupi despite recent fitness concerns.

Kroupi enjoyed a magnificent debut campaign in the English top flight during the 2025/26 season, where he netted 13 goals for the Cherries.
His impact was so significant that he earned a nomination for the 2026 Ballon d’Or Men’s Young Talent of the Year award.
Having previously operated as an attacking midfielder, the youngster attacking profile fits perfectly into Arteta’s tactical philosophy.
Reports indicate that Arteta is looking for a more fluid front three, and Kroupi’s technical level is considered to be of a world-class standard. The Gunners are reportedly of the opinion that his movement could create more room for inside-forwards to exploit.
Kroupi is currently recovering from a foot injury that has kept him sidelined for the opening months of the 2026/27 campaign.
However, medical staff at Bournemouth expect the forward to return to full match fitness between late October and November.
