Arsenal set to lose out on exciting midfielder as Newcastle make fresh move

Newcastle United are prepared to make an exciting offer that will prise Amario Cozier-Duberry away from Arsenal this summer.

Arsenal have become popular for giving youth a chance in the first team, however, they are about to lose 18-year-old Amario Cozier-Duberry who is out-of-contract next month.

The London club are willing to extend the youngster contract and talks are ongoing. However, no agreement has yet been struck, which has alerted a number of clubs.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle are among the teams chasing Cozier-Duberry having already “made a proposal”. Posting on X – formerly known as Twitter – Romano said: “Arsenal are still in talks with talent Amario Cozier-Duberry as contract negotiations have not collapsed yet.

“Newcastle want him and made a proposal but not done deal yet, several European clubs are approaching 2005 born talent. No final decision yet.”

Cozier-Duberry has been tipped for a big future and compared to Buyako Saka. On Arsenal’s official website.

Newcastle United in the past few seasons have signed young players from rivals as they tend on building a strong team capable of fighting for trophies.
