Barcelona €60m top-target gives deadline for his imminent transfer
Barcelona are looking at strengthening their squad this summer transfer window with the signature of Athletic Club winger Nico Williams and Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig.
Despite being the leading candidate for their signatures, Barcelona are yet to reach any agreement with their respective clubs as their financial struggle continue to play a major role.
Olmo is willing to move to Barcelona. The La Masia-trained forward is clear that he wants to return to Barcelona this summer, despite having better offers from other big clubs like Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
While Nico Williams also want the move, he is hoping Barcelona can sort out a deal.
Barcelona have already sent a first proposal to RB Leipzig for Olmo but it was rejected by the Germans. Under this proposal, Barcelona offered a sum of €40 million divided into four installments and some variables which would have taken the total package to €60 million, which was also the player’s release clause.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Olmo is now waiting for the Blaugranes to improve their offer but wants his future resolved before he rejoins RB Leipzig from his holidays on 9th August.
This is the day he is supposed to report back to his club after winning the European Championship with the Spanish national team in Germany.
Everyone at Barcelona loves the idea of signing Olmo. Deco believes Olmo would add much-needed firepower to the team. The new coach, Hansi Flick, who is familiar with Olmo from the Bundesliga, agrees with this assessment.
Olmo is eager to resolve his future quickly and hopes to start the new season as a Barcelona player.
