Barcelona outcast to receive second chance under Hansi Flick

Barcelona winger Ansu Fati will be given another chance to prove himself at the Spanish giant despite a disappointing loan spell at Brighton and Hove in the Premier League.

Fati spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Brighton but failed to impress. The Spanish youngster struggled with injuries and will return to Barcelona.

Despite being linked with a summer move, the arrival of Hansi Flick will see Fati get another chance at Barcelona.

According to SPORT, Hansi Flick is treating Fati’s case with a significant amount of interest, and is willing to give him a chance to prove himself in the upcoming pre-season.

Barcelona understand that Fati has always maintained his commitment to Barcelona, and has shown his willingness to fight for a position in the team.

Though Barcelona will have to let go of some players due to their FFP limitations and salary cap problems, Fati might be allowed to stay in Spain.

Flick wants to see Fati play live before making a decision on a possible loan or sale.

As things stand, Barcelona have already received some offers from Spain for the winger, despite the difficult time he had during the last phase of his loan at Brighton.

Sevilla and Valencia both have made inquiries about him. Several Saudi clubs have also shown an interest in him, while Wolverhampton Wanderers can also be another option for Fati.
