Carabao Cup fourth-round draw in full as Chelsea, Man City, and Arsenal progresses

Published on

The Carabao Cup fourth-round draw has been revealed with top teams getting a shot at winning the first silverware of the season.

Liverpool and Arsenal produced an impressive performance on Wednesday to book a place in the fourth round with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City already securing a spot with victory on Tuesday.

Arne Slot’s team began their defence of the trophy by coming from behind to beat West Ham, while a heavily-rotated Arsenal side still had too much for Bolton Wanderers.

The fourth-round draw will now see Liverpool  continue their Carabao Cup defence away to Brighton, with the other fourth round highlights including Tottenham vs Manchester City.

There are three Championship sides left in the draw. Sheffield Wednesday are away to Brentford, with Stoke at Southampton and Preston North End hosting Arsenal.

Newcastle and AFC Wimbledon will play their postponed game on October 1. Their initial game was postponed after flooding in South London made the Dons’ pitch unplayable.

The winner of that match will play Chelsea at home in round four. Chelsea defeated Barrow 5-0 to book a place in the fourth-round.
