‎Cristiano Ronaldo will play no part in Portugal’s matches at the ongoing international break following his departure from the team camp.

‎The Al Nassr forward announced that he had left the team’s camp on Wednesday amid his fury over being left as an unused substitute.

‎Ronaldo was left on the bench for the entire game as Portugal beat Norway, with manager Jorge Jesus opting not to use him.

‎As drama continue to unravel off the pitch, Portugal have make a decision on who will wear Ronaldo’s iconic No. 7 shirt against Denmark on Thursday night.

‎Rafael Leao will seemingly wear Ronaldo’s number for the remainder of the international break for Portugal.

‎The Galatasaray winger appears on UEFA’s website as their No.7.

‎He wore the No.17 in his appearance against Wales last time out, but he has made the switch now Ronaldo has left.

‎Portugal have two games left in their camp, with the first being against Denmark, when Leao could don his new number. The former AC Milan winger is expected to wear the shirt again when the Portuguese take on Norway for a second time in the international break on Sunday evening.
