Ex-Arsenal star launches his rap career in style, releases new video
As Arsenal continue to progress on the pitch, one of their former players has taken a bold step by venturing into the music industry while still playing active football.
Former Arsenal playmaker Alex Iwobi has featured in a new music video after releasing his second single this week.
The Fulham star, 28, launched his rap career earlier this year with his debut hit ‘Don’t Shoot’.
He has now followed that up with ‘What’s Luv?’ which sees his collaborating with close friend SPKS and emerging artist MBrown.
Iwobi took to X to promote his latest single, as he posted a short clip alongside the caption: ‘What’s Luv? VIDEO OUT NOW! Link In My Bio – Watch, Stream, Share, VIBE!’
The song has been described as ‘a celebration of his African roots with a blend of Afro–Swing mixed with Rap’.

Speaking about his decision to move into the music industry while still playing football, Iwobi has previously said: ‘Music has always been a passion of mine, and a way for me to express myself away from football. Music is a great tool and I’ve always used it as a productive way to share how I feel.’
Time spent in the studio has not affected Iwobi’s performance on the pitch. The Nigerian international has scored two goals and registered an assist in nine appearances this term to help Fulham pick up 12 points from their opening nine matches.
Iwobi is regarded as an important figure in Fulham’s dressing room and he’ll be eager to continue his good form.
