FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Round of 16 fixtures confirmed

Round of 16 fixtures of the ongoing FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup has been confirmed with the likes of Spain, Japan, Nigeria, Germany and Argentina progressing.

Japan and North Korea won the last group deciders ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup knockout stages.

Meanwhile, Maya Hijikata scored late in each half to secure a third straight win in Colombia.Ghana gained their first points before departing, with a 3-1 victory over New Zealand.

Argentina edged Costa Rica 1-0 with a Kishi Núñez 18th-minute goal, their first win enough to see them progress as one of the best third-placed sides.

Canada, Cameroon and South Korea were the other three teams to finish third but go through to the knockout stages.
