Arsenal secures first trophy amid Premier League title fight with Man City

Arsenal are currently battling it out with Manchester City for the Premier League title, however, they can be rest assured of an award at the end of the season.

The London club have been impressive all through the season as they’ve been able to compete with Liverpool and Manchester City.

Despite leading the table with one point, Manchester City are still favourite due to their outstanding match. A victory for City will see them go above Arsenal.

With everything left to play for, Arsenal players can celebrate their goalkeeper David Raya who has won the Golden Glove trophy for the 23/24 season.

David Raya was in fierce competition with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. However, the England number one failed to keep a clean sheet during Everton’s clash with Luton Town.

On Friday night, Luton welcomed the Toffees to Kenilworth Road as they look to continue their fight for Premier League survival.

Despite going ahead, Luton Town equalized through Elijah Adebayo in the 31st minute. The goal confirmed David Raya as the 23/24 Golden Glove winner.

The official Premier League account wrote on social media: “David Raya’s clean sheet tally for the season cannot be beaten.

“This secures him at least a share of the 2023/24 @Castrol Golden Glove!”

Despite their latest achievement, David Raya and Arsenal will be fully focused on giving themselves the best chance of clinching the Premier League trophy.
