Arsenal transfer plans revealed after star midfielder contract renewal

Arsenal are set to build on their successful season as Mikel Arteta and the club share tips of their summer transfer plan.

The London club are expected to allow some young players leave the club on loan while some will be allowed to start a new adventure elsewhere.

With the Financial Fair Play rules still in play, Arsenal will be cashing out on some fringe players while some players will be given a new contract.

Summer transfer window has already started at the Emirates Stadium with Arsenal agreeing a renewal with Jorginho.

The Italian was out of contract in the summer but his short-term deal has answered one transfer question.

According to The Athletic, part of Arsenal’s summer plans involve improving the academy production line. The club are eager to follow the path of other rivals who have continued to nurture young talents.

Though Arsenal have also been consistent in giving opportunities to young players, some have failed to make huge impact in the first team.

The likes of Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson have come through the ranks but are anticipated to be sold this summer amid a lack of game time.

It is expected that Mikel Arteta will give chances to young players during Arsenal’s pre-season tour and be hoping they play at the highest level.
