Arsenal defender Ben White has signed a new long-term contract, solidifying his place with the Gunners. This deal extends White’s stay at the Emirates Stadium until at least 2028, with the option for an additional year.

White, who joined Arsenal in 2021 from Brighton & Hove Albion, has become a crucial part of Mikel Arteta’s squad. His versatility has been a major asset, excelling in both central defense and right-back. He’s made a total of 122 appearances in all competitions for the club.

The 26-year-old expressed his delight at committing his long-term future to Arsenal. “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else,” White said. This sentiment was echoed by both Manager Mikel Arteta and Sporting Director Edu, who praised White’s talent, dedication, and leadership qualities.

Arteta on White:Ben is a key player for us, a young player who is already showing incredible maturity. We’re so happy that he’s committed his future to the club”

Edu on White: “We’re delighted to have extended Ben’s contract. He’s an important part of our plans and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue to develop at Arsenal
