Cristiano Ronaldo sees red, causes brawl as Al Hilal knocks out Al Nassr in Saudi Cup

Ronaldo clashed with Al-Bulaihi during Al Nassr's defeat to Al Hilal

Cristiano Ronaldo suffered another huge blow in his illustrious career as the Portuguese saw red in Al-Nassr’s defeat to Al Hilal Saudi Super Cup semi-final.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward was shown the exit door after appearing to elbow and stamp on his opponent.

Al Nassr were 2-0 down to Al-Hilal, when Cristiano Ronaldo saw red following a clash with Ali Al-Bulaihi near the touchline. The Portuguese clashed with Al-Bulaihi after he tried to prevent him from grabbing the ball to take a quick throw-in.

Ronaldo appeared to throw an elbow in the direction of the Al-Hilal defender, sending him crashing to the floor and sparking a melee of pushing and shoving between the players.

The former Real Madrid star had already clashed with the ref after Al-Nassr had a goal disallowed with the game still goalless.

It’s left to be seen if Ronaldo will be suspended for his actions during the match against Al Hilal or he’ll just have to sit out of a game.
