‘Nothing has changed’: Erik ten Hag casts doubt over winger future at Man Utd

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has clarified the future of Jadon Sancho at the club insisting that nothing has changed.

Jadon Sancho was allowed to join Borussia Dortmund on loan in January after falling out with Erik ten Hag and the England international has been able to prove his doubters wrong.

Sancho has regained his form in Germany, helping Dortmund recently secure a spot in the Champions League semi-finals.

Though Ten Hag has been criticized for allowing Sancho to leave Old Trafford, the Dutchman is adamant the right decision was made.

Speaking ahead of United’s FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City, Ten Hag stated, “We know he [Sancho] is a fantastic player. That is not a surprise. That is not the issue.

“It was a fantastic game – Dortmund against Atletico Madrid. Great performance from Dortmund and for Jadon it’s good news, he made his contribution to the result for Dortmund.

“Of course, I follow international football and follow the players on loan at other clubs.”

Sancho will return to Old Trafford when the current season comes to an end and all eyes will be on Erik ten Hag if he’ll retain the England international or allow another loan move.
