Real Madrid issue update on Vinicius Junior injury ahead of El Clasico

Spanish giant, Real Madrid have given an update about Vinicius Junior injury ahead of their El Classico clash with Barcelona.

Vinicius Junior was withdrawn before the end of Real Madrid’s epic Champions League victory over Manchester City on Wednesday and this raised concern amongst fans.

The Brazilian played 102 minutes of the contest and many fans are skeptical of his fitness ahead of the clash against Barcelona.

However, Athletic’s Guillermo Rai revealed he has been assured by the club that Vinicius Junior will be fit for the game as he was dancing in the locker room with the music super loud.

The report also claimed Dani Carvajal, who also went off injured during the tense period of extra-time will also be fit.

Vinicius Junior has been impressive this season, racking up 28 goals and assists across 31 games in all competitions.

The Brazilian winger will be eager to continue his form against a more determined Barcelona side. Madrid holds an eight-point lead over Barcelona in La Liga.
