Robertson hints at Liverpool dressing room reaction to Jurgen Klopp’s replacement

Liverpool defender, Andy Robertson has given an update about his teammates’ reaction to Jurgen Klopp’s potential replacement, Arne Slot.

Jurgen Klopp has announced he will be leaving the club when the season comes to its conclusion.

On Friday, news emerged that Liverpool had reached an agreement with Feyenoord for Arne Slot to take charge at Anfield at the end of the season.

Though an official announcement has not been made, fans are preparing for a new era under Slot but Robertson and his teammates are not focused on that.

Robertson when asked about Slot joining Liverpool this summer told TNT Sports, “It’s obviously something that we can’t focus on now.”

Liverpool have been holding talks with Feyenoord in recent days in order to agree on compensation for Slot due to not having a release clause in his contract.

The Reds agreed compensation that could be worth up to £9.4m (€11m) for Slot, which is expected to see him become the club’s next manager.
