West Ham eye Atletico Madrid striker as Antonio, Ings replacement

Premier League side, West Ham United have been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid forward, Samu Omorodion.

David Moyes’ team have been in search of a new striker since the departure of Gianluca Scamacca last summer, with Michail Antonio and Danny Ings the only natural strikers remaining at the London Stadium.

However, latest reports have claimed Samu Omorodion has been identified as a perfect replacement for the aging forwards.

According to HITC, Atletico Madrid are willing to cash in on Samu Omorodion despite arriving in Madrid for just £5million last summer.

Omorodion has thrived while on loan at Alaves and this has attract interest from the Premier League.

West Ham will be battling it out with fellow Premier League sides, West Ham, Brighton and Wolves who are also keeping tabs on the Spain youngster.

Standing at 6 foot 4 and just 19 years old, it appears the striker already has the physical attributes required to adapt to the Premier League.

West Ham have also been linked with Bayer Levekusen’s Victor Boniface but it seems the Nigeria forward will be looking to stay in Germany.
