Georgina Rodriguez pays tribute to partner Cristiano Ronaldo after Euro 2024 exit
Portugal were knocked out of Euro 2024 with the match decided on penalty after an entertaining 0-0 draw in 120 minutes.
In what would likely be Cristiano Ronaldo‘s last appearance at the EUROs, Portugal fell short with a 5-3 margin, leading to their elimination from Euro 2024 to France.
After the match, Georgina Rodriguez wrote a heartfelt tribute to her partner Cristiano Ronaldo.
Georgina Rodriguez took to social media to express her admiration and support for Ronaldo and the Portuguese crowd. She wrote: “What beautiful emotions we have experienced this Euro Cup ❤️ Thank you for always @portugal 🇵🇹⭐️❤️”

Despite ranked among the greatest football players in history, Ronaldo had a challenging time at Euro 2024. The talismanic forward had a challenging game, touched the ball only 40 times over 120 minutes and was hardly effective in the attacking third.
Following Portugal’s departure from Euro 2024, speculation has arisen regarding Ronaldo’s future with the national team. However, Roberto Martinez has assured that the 39-year-old has yet to make a definitive decision about his international career.
Ronaldo will now shift his focus to having quality time with his family before returning to pre-season with Al Nassr.
Speaking of retirement, Ronaldo had earlier expressed his desire to compete in the next World Cup in 2026 which underscores his enduring passion for the game.
