Juventus consider Sergio Ramos after losing Gleison Bremer to ACL injury

Seria A giant Juventus are reportedly considering signing former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos after losing Gleison Bremer to an ACL injury.

Juventus suffered a huge setback in the Champions League match against RB Leipzig, where Bremer suffered a rupture of his anterior cruciate ligament.

Bremer’s injury will see him miss the remainder of the season. The Brazilian defender was an integral part of Thiago Motta’s tactical plans and will be a huge miss for the Italian giant.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are mulling over signing Ramos as they see the 38-year-old as a viable option to bolster their defence in the absence of Bremer.

Sergio Ramos has been without a club since he left Sevilla and will be eager to ply his trade in the Italian top flight.

The former Paris Saint-Germain defender has been staying fit by training on his own, and sharing clips of his workouts on social media to show that he is ready for a top challenge.

Fichajes also reported that aside from Ramos, names such as Joel Matip, Simon Kjaer and Konstantinos Manolas have also been floated in Turin.

However, Ramos’ vast experience and legendary status make him the most appealing candidate to fill Bremer’s shoes.
