Juventus open talks to sign Rashford after Jadon Sancho agreement

Marcus Rashford has been offered another exit route from Manchester United with Juventus reportedly interested in signing the England international.

Rashford has asked to leave United this summer and he’s currently not training with group as Ruben Amorim prepares his side for their first preseason game. Barcelona are leading the race to sign Rashford but Juventus have made initial contact as they look to rival other suitors.

Juventus are also closing in on a deal to sign Jason Sancho. The England international who has not played for the first-team since he was frozen out by Erik ten Hag in August 2023, spent last season on loan at Chelsea.

The Blues eventually opted to pay United £5million to get out of their obligation to sign the winger permanently.

According to multiple report, Juventus held a positive talks with Sancho’s agent on Wednesday and the deal might be sealed in the next few days.

Meanwhile, Rashford is yet to decide if he’ll join Juventus as his preferred destination is Barcelona. But, there has been no progress in a deal to take him to the Camp Nou.

The England international joined Aston Villa in January where he rediscovered some form but opted against a permanent switch to Villa Park.

Barcelona are still on the lookout for a winger after their failed pursuit of Nico Williams. Liverpool’s Luis Diaz has been identified as their next target but the Premier League champions are not willing to sell.

It remains to be seen whether interest from another European heavyweight in Juventus could sway Rashford.

Earlier this month, the England international had the no 10 shirt taken from him, handed to new signing Matheus Cunha, a move that showed he has no place in Amorim’s team.
