“Never at Juventus”: Napoli Chief Addresses Victor Osimhen Future

Published on

Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis has finally address the future of Victor Osimhen at the club as the Nigeria international enter the final phase of his prolific loan spell at Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray.

Osimhen has been in glittering form since arriving in Turkey but De Laurentiis has insisted that the Nigeria international will not stay in Istanbul beyond the summer, with the Partenopei looking to offload their wantaway star permanently.

With 29 goals and six assists across 33 competitive appearances for Galatasaray, Osimhen is not short of suitors and this include Napoli’s bitter domestic rivals Juventus.

Juventus hold Osimhen in high esteem, but Aurelio De Laurentiis has no intention of letting his prized asset join the record-time Serie A champions.

“Never at Juventus,’ the Napoli bigwig recently told Radio Kiss Kiss via Calciomercato, effectively ruling out Osimhen’s potential transfer to the Allianz Stadium.

One way or another, he will leave Napoli in the coming months. Antonio Conte heavily relies on Romelu Lukaku but wants to strengthen his squad in other departments. Osimhen’s sale would help the three-time Italian champions raise funds for summer reinforcements.

However, he won’t go cheap. His lucrative €10 million net per season deal at Napoli expires in 2027. On top of that, De Laurentiis won’t sell him unless he gets around €100m in return.
