Premier League clubs offer Chelsea flop Raheem Sterling escape route

Published on

Raheem Sterling has been told he can leave Chelsea this summer and the former Manchester City star is reportedly attracting interest from elsewhere in the Premier League.

Sterling has struggled since joining Chelsea in 2022, and his loan spell at Arsenal last season only further highlighted why his career is in need of a revival. The England international needs to reassert himself as a top talent and put himself in the frame for a return to international football.

The 30-year-old was widely tipped for a move abroad as a result, with a change of scenery viewed as the ideal way to help him get his career back on track.

However, he might also remain in the Premier League.

According to talkSPORT, West Ham are keeping very close tabs on Sterling’s situation, with Graham Potter being a keen admirer of the versatile forward after developing a ‘good working relationship’ with him during his stint as Blues boss.

Report claim Fulham and Crystal Palace are also keen to acquire his services – and Sterling’s preference to remain in London would give them all a genuine chance to secure his signature.

Meanwhile, if he opts to move abroad, Juventus are reportedly looking at adding him to their squad.

Sterling is currently training with a group of Chelsea players which the club are looking to loan out, though a permanent departure would be favoured.
