Real Madrid identifies €75 million-rated Premier League star as Toni Kroos’ replacement
Spanish giant Real Madrid are still on the lookout for Toni Kroos replacement months after the Germany international retired from active football.
Kroos retired after the conclusion of EURO 2024 with Real Madrid still struggling to fill his space. The Germany midfielder has grown to become one of the best in his position and Carlo Ancelotti has been forced to do without him this season.
However, recent report from Real Madrid Confidencial revealed that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is keeping a close eye on Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

It is reported that Fernandez is seen as one of the brightest talents in football and is being considered a potential long-term replacement for Toni Kroos in Real Madrid’s midfield.
Fernandez possesses exceptional technical ability and vision, qualities that align perfectly with Real Madrid’s high standards for their midfielders.
However, Madrid will face a bit of difficulties in bringing him to Spain. Currently, no official negotiations have taken place, and Fernandez remains fully committed to Chelsea.
Also, Fernandez is highly rated at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea are unlikely to let go of the Argentine who is also part of the captains.
Not forgetting that Chelsea paid a massive €120 million for the player and secured him on a long-term contract that still has seven years remaining.
Report also claimed Atletico Madrid are considering signing Fernandez who is currently focused on his responsibilities at Chelsea.
Chelsea are having a brilliant season under Enzo Maresca and Fernandez will be eager to play a huge part in the project.
Real Madrid are known to be an ambitious club and would get any player they desire, it’s left to see if Fernandez will make the move to Spain or the Los Blancos will look elsewhere.
