West Ham set huge clause to Chelsea star in the summer
West Ham United are prepared are prepared to offer Axel Disasi a permanent move away from Chelsea if they retain their place in the Premier League this season.
However, that is only if he is available for a price well below the £38.6million that Chelsea paid to sign him from Monaco.
Having been left out of Chelsea squad for the season, Disasi finally secured a loan move to West Ham in January. The deal worth £1.8m was confirmed on Deadline Day, and the Frenchman has made a fine start to life at the London club.

Report from Standard Sport claim West Ham are impressed enough with Disasi and would be willing to explore a permanent deal in the summer if they secure top-flight survival.
However, they would expect a price cut from the £38.6m it took Chelsea to sign him in 2023. The belief internally at West Ham is that his market value has fallen significantly since then, having failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are intent on selling Disasi this summer, but the finances required would be too great for West Ham if they are relegated to the Championship.
With only nine games left to play this term, West Ham sit 18th in the Premier League table, but are now level on points with Nottingham Forest and only one adrift of crisis-stricken rivals Tottenham.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have won seven of their last 11 matches across all competitions, including a penalty shootout victory over Brentford on Monday night which sealed a first FA Cup quarter-final berth since 2016.
