Xavi favourite to sign highly-rated youngster due a special clause in his contract
Barcelona are reportedly interested in bringing RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons back to Barcelona, the club where he began his professional career.
According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, Xavi Simons has also expressed his desire to return to Barcelona as he wants to fulfill his long-term dream.
Barcelona now have a shot at signing Xavi Simons this summer due to a special clause on his contract.

Simons currently has a provision in his contract that allows him to have a say in which club he can be loaned out to. With this option available, he has set his sights on a move back to Barcelona.
The potential for Xavi Simons to join Barcelona on loan for the upcoming season presents a promising opportunity, despite the differences between Barça and PSG.
It is said that Simons’ contractual terms allow him to choose his next destination through a loan arrangement.
With Barcelona currently struggling financially, Xavi Simons can join Xavi Hernandez’s team on loan rather than on a permanent transfer.
Simons and his agent are set to meet with PSG’s president, Nasser Al Khelaifi, to discuss a possible loan move to Barça.
Going to Barcelona on loan seems to be the most easiest route as a permanent transfer could be costly, with reports suggesting PSG would demand at least €100 million.
Simons trained at La Masia, and his father admired Xavi Hernandez. It’s left to see if the youngster will be able to play under his father’s role model.
