Bayern Munich tipped to launch summer move for Man Utd star midfielder

Bayern Munich are looking to strengthen their squad next season and they’ve been linked with a surprise move for Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

Just like Manchester United, Bayern Munich have struggled all season. The German side failed to win any trophies and are eager to get back to winning ways.

Though they’ve qualified for the Champions League unlike Man United, reports have claimed they are willing to sign Bruno Fernandes who might also be interested.

Fernandes’ future has been the subject of intense speculation ever since it was reported that United are prepared to listen to offers for every member of the squad aside from Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.

Latest update from The Independent claim Fernandes is being lined up by Bayern for a shocking summer switch to the Bundesliga.

The Manchester Evening News add that some inside the Old Trafford dressing room have doubts that Fernandes will still be at the club next season, with the report claiming he would be open to a move away at this stage in his career.

United are set to start a new rebuilding project next season with some players expected to leave so young players will be given the opportunity to shine.

It is important to understand that Fernandes is not actively seeking a move away from United and would be more than happy to stay.

However, the summer transfer window will prove a lot in the Portuguese future. Fernandes has played an important role in Manchester United ever since he joined from Sporting Lisbon.
