Napoli star set for Saudi Arabia move as PSG transfer talks stall
Victor Osimhen might end up playing in the Saudi Arabia League next season as Paris Saint-Germain fail to strike a deal with Napoli. Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal remain interested in the Nigeria forward.
Osimhen is seeking a summer move away from Napoli and has been linked with top sides such as Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG. However, none of the clubs have been able to meet €130m asking price.
While the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal pulled out of the race, PSG were looking at working out a deal with Napoli as they continue to search for Kylian Mbappe’s replacement, however, the French Ligue 1 champion are unlikely to pay the entire €130m clause.
To secure the deal, PSG must sell Gonçalo Ramos or Randal Kolo Muani before sending an official offer to Napoli. However, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal remain interested in Victor Osimhen but the Nigeria international wants to stay in Europe and is waiting to join PSG.
Osimhen continues the pre-season with Napoli and will join the team in Castel Di Sangro for the second part of preparation while waiting for a move to PSG.
Corriere dello Sport and Gazzetta claim that a move to the French capital is now a priority for Osimhen. Tuttosport reported last week that the striker has already agreed personal terms with the club.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League are waiting for the developments of PSG talks with Osimhen before making a formal bid.
