Juventus release 2024/25 Champions League roster, make surprising inclusion
Juventus release 2024/25 Champions League roster, make various surprising inclusion. Juventus have made a return to the Champions league after a season away from Europe and nearly two from its premier competition.
Ahad of their official return, Juventus have made a huge change to the squad used last season. Today was the deadline for teams to announce their Champions League squads for the league phase, and Juventus have duly submitted theirs.
Included in the list with the likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Douglas Luiz, and Danilo is one Arthur Melo.
Arthur, of course, hasn’t played for Juve in two years after falling deeply out of favor with the team due to his subpar performances. He had a decent year on loan at Fiorentina last year, but his wages made a permanent move to Florence impossible and Juve have been openly trying to find him a new home for the season, at least on loan if not permanently. With most transfer windows closed with the exception of Turkyie, the options for that are dwindling.
On the 22-man A-list, but the one that is there is quite a head-scratcher.
