Bayern Munich to make Musiala highest-paid in a bid to stop Real Madrid offer
Jamal Musiala has continue to attract the interest of top football clubs with Real Madrid and Manchester City monitoring his contract situation at Bayern Munich.
The Germany international has grown to become one of the most exciting youngsters in world football and Bayern are faced with keeping him happy at the club.
Premier League champions Manchester City alongside Real Madrid are keen on the Germany international with the two clubs reportedly ready for a €100m transfer battle.
However, Bayern Munich are not willing to listen to any offer and instead will offer their most prized asset a new deal..
Musiala’s current deal in Bavaria will expire in June 2026, and he is yet to open formal negotiations on an extension at the Allianz Arena.
Reports from Sky Germany have now claimed that Bayern Munich are prepared to make Musiala their joint highest-paid player, on a deal until either 2029 or 2030.
The rumoured package would include a €25m gross annual salary which would match with top earner Harry Kane, as the Bundesliga giants prepare to show their determination not to be overpowered in the race to retain top talent.
Bayern Munich director Max Eberl has earlier confirmed that the club hope to tie up an extension in the coming months but admitted an agreement could be difficult.
Musiala is currently out with injury but is likely to be fit after the international break as Vincent Kompany’s team continue their push for success.
