Ex Man Utd, Chelsea manager considered for vacant Leicester City job
Leicester City are on the lookout for a new manager after Steve Cooper was sacked following their 2-1 home defeat to Chelsea.
Defeat on their home turf to Chelsea on Saturday means Leicester are stuck in 16th place on the table and that was enough for the club owners to show him the exit door.
Cooper was appointed as Leicester manager after Enzo Maresca left the club to join Chelsea in the summer.
Surprisingly, the Welshman managed just 12 league games and despite not being in the relegation zone he was sacked.
Leicester have now identified the likes of Graham Potter, David Moyes and Ruud van Nistelrooy as his replacement.
According to the bookmakers, the two leading contenders to replace him are former Chelsea boss Potter and the recent Manchester United interim manager Van Nistelrooy.

Van Nistelrooy impressed during his short spell as Manchester United’s interim manager.
The Dutchman stepped in at Manchester United when Erik ten Hag was dismissed, winning three and drawing one of his four games in interim charge.
However, he’s currently seeking a new role after Ruben Amorim decided to bring in his coaching crew.
Former Red Devils, West Ham and Everton manager David Moyes has also been touted as a possible replacement for Cooper. Other names considered to be candidates, although relatively long-shots, are the likes of Carlos Corberan, Michael Carrick and Mark Robins.
