Barcelona put in a dominant display on Wednesday night by thrashing Ernesto Valverde’s Athletic Club 5-0 in Saudi Arabia to book a place in the Spanish Super Cup final.
Goals from Ferran Torres, Fermin Lopez, Roony Bardhgji and two from Raphinha made it an excellent night for Hansi Flick’s side as they aim to successfully defend their title.
Hansi Flicks’ team looked unstoppable on the night and their 5-0 scoreline victory saw them write their name into the history books.

The 5-0 scoreline is the biggest the competition has ever seen in a single match.
The victory also saw three different players involved in three goals in a Spanish Super Cup game for the first time since at least the 2010/11 season.
Fermin grabbed a goal and two assists, Raphinha scored a brace and picked up an assist and Roony also scored and assisted twice.
Barcelona are now through to the final and would face either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid on Sunday. The two city rivals face off on Thursday night in what would be an epic battle.
