Committed! Jurgen Klopp stance on vacant Real Madrid job revealed

Real Madrid remain in search of a new permanent manager, with Jurgen Klopp previously emerging as a leading candidate.

Former Los Blancos boss José Mourinho has also been linked with a sensational return, as club president Florentino Pérez reportedly prioritizes an experienced manager with a proven track record at the highest level.

However, Klopp is not prepared to replace Álvaro Arbeloa at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, despite ongoing speculation.

The former Liverpool FC boss remains committed to his role as Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull, while reportedly considering the Germany national football team as a potential next step in his coaching career.

According to Diario AS, Madrid’s hierarchy are now evaluating alternative candidates, effectively cooling speculation around Klopp.

The report adds that despite the urgency to replace Arbeloa—who stepped in after Xabi Alonso—none of the widely linked candidates have been formally approached.

In fact, several names have not even been seriously discussed, with intermediaries reportedly using Madrid’s name to generate interest elsewhere, while the club continues a more measured recruitment process.

Real Madrid are known for their patience during managerial searches, and the current leadership is taking a similarly deliberate approach—focusing on appointing a manager who fits the squad’s immediate tactical needs.

Meanwhile, same report claim Klopp’s ultimate professional objective is to manage the German national team.

Klopp is widely viewed as the natural successor to Julian Nagelsmann – who extended his DFB contract until 2028 – should the role become available after the 2026 World Cup.
