LONDON — Reigning Premier League champions Arsenal have made a definitive statement of intent ahead of the 2026/27 domestic campaign, completing the high-profile signing of midfielder Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United.
The Brazil international moves to the Emirates Stadium on a four-year contract with an option for an additional 12 months, for a fixed fee of £75 million (approximately $101 million). Guimarães becomes Arsenal’s fourth major addition of the summer transfer window, joining a squad fully geared up to defend their Premier League crown and conquer Europe.

Guimarães departs Tyneside after four and a half stellar years, during which he established himself as one of the Premier League’s most complete and influential midfielders.
