Barcelona learn extent of Raphinha injury after Brazil scare
Raphinha could be available for Barcelona’s next match against Getafe on October 10 despite picking up a thigh injury earlier this week.
The winger was substituted at the interval of Brazil’s international friendly with Australia, a move that raised eyebrows at Camp Nou.
Initial examinations from Brazil ruled out a serious problem, with the forward instead allegedly suffering an impact injury which caused some swelling.
Barcelona have now conducted their own examinations on Friday.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the La Liga champions have received good news when it comes to the attacker’s fitness.

The report claims that ‘the results were positive’, with Raphinha set to be available for selection in the league game against Getafe on October 10.
Raphinha has had an incredible start to the season for Barcelona, scoring 14 goals and registering three assists in eight appearances.
His absence would have been a huge blow for Hansi Flicks’ side.
Raphinha had four separate issues with his right thigh during the 2025-26 campaign, with his longest absence proving to be between September 2025 and November 2025.
The Brazilian has flourished in his new role this season, having been played has a number nine rather than his usual left wing.
He will now be eager to continue his good form as Barcelona take on all of Getafe, Galatasaray, Real Betis, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid before the end of October.
