Xavi clarifies Barcelona star’s future amid interest from La Liga clubs

Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez has spoken about the future of Ansu Fati at the club with the Spanish youngster linked with a move away from the Spanish club.
Fati spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Brighton in the English Premier League but failed to make a mark.
The Seagulls are not thought to be keen on keeping hold of Ansu, while there doesn’t seem room for him at Barca either. Reports have claimed Barcelona are planning another loan for the youngster but this time want him to stay in La Liga.
Xavi Hernandez during his pre-match press conference for Barcelona’s monday clash against Real Sociedad spoke about Fati’s future at the club.
When asked about Ansu Fati’s future at Barcelona, Xavi snapped back saying: “Don’t ask me about planning anymore. It will depend on the end of the season, and the situation we are in.”

Sevilla are reportedly interested in bringing in Fati next season, a move Barcelona are also interested in.
Fati grew up in Sevilla and played for the club’s youth teams until he moved to Barcelona and joined La Masia.
Atletico Madrid are also interested in bringing in Ansu Fati next season with report claiming Diego Simeone sees him as an ideal replacement for Angel Correa in the Atletico Madrid midfield unit.
Angel Correa has been linked with a move out of Madrid and Atletico Madrid will soon present a bid to sign Ansu Fati.
