PSG battle Man United, Liverpool for highly-rated Portuguese midfielder
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Benfica midfielder João Neves this summer transfer window.
Neves has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in this window, with Manchester United thought to be one of his biggest suitors.
Liverpool are also reported to the working out the financials of an offer. Though City have been quiet about Neves, fellow Portugal international Bernardo Silva has previously said he would “pull strings” to get the player to Manchester City.
Latest report from Record has now seen PSG become the frontrunner for the signature of Neves. The report says that PSG coach Luis Enrique has already given the club’s sporting director, Luis Campos, the go-ahead to begin negotiations.

Benfica have warned potential suitors that Neves will only leave if his release clause is met. Neves signed a new contract last summer, which runs until 2028 with his clause increased from €60m to €120m.
On Monday, Record reported that Neves had turned down another new contract offer — increasing the chances he moves on this summer.
PSG are in for serious business this summer with the club eager to move past the departure of Kylian Mbappe and build a new team.
