Emulate Cristiano Ronaldo: Mbappe reveals his target in first Real Madrid season

Kylian Mbappe has started his Madrid adventure by scoring a goal and lifting the UEFA Super Cup. However, the former PSG forward is eager to do much more than that.
Weeks after completing his dream move to Real Madrid, Mbappe made his debut in a 2-0 UEFA Super Cup win over Atalanta as he becomes the latest ‘Galactico’ in Madrid. He has been able to form a good relationship with Vincius Junior, Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham.
Tipped to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, Mbappe has now insisted that he is looking at scoring 50 goals in his debut season with the Los Blancos.
Mbappe told Movistar when asked if he can hit a half-century in his debut campaign: “We are at Real Madrid, we have no limit, if I can score 50, then 50, but the most important thing is winning and improving as a team, because we will win as a team.”
The Frenchman added on enjoying a dream debut for the Liga title holders: “It was a great night, I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time. To play with this shirt, with this badge, for these fans, it’s a gift for me. We won a trophy too, that’s very important, we know that here we always have to win and I am very happy.”
Ronaldo registered 450 goals for Real through 438 appearances, becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer. Mbappe has a huge task ahead of him, however, he boost a great scoring record at PSG and the France national team.
