Lamine Yamal has grown to become one of the best youngsters in the world of football, putting up impressive performance for club and country.
Yamal rose to stardom last season under the guidance of Xavi Hernandez and continued his impressive form to help Spain win EURO 2024.
At just 17 years of age, Yamal has been selected as La Liga’s Player of the Month for September and has not shown any signs of slowing down.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger heaped praise on Barcelona’s young sensation Yamal and credited him for his flabbergasting achievements at a young age.
“What Lamine Yamal is doing is ridiculous, you have to give him credit. He plays for Barcelona at the age of 17, what he did at the EURO.”
Rudiger also wished the player the best in the future and insisted that good fitness would take him places.
“I hope he stays healthy, he has a brilliant future. It’s pretty scary what he’s doing.”
Rudiger will be put to a tough test when Barcelona and Real Madrid faceoff in the first Clasico of the season.
