The January transfer window have seen various players linked to Bayern Munich, however, Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku’s seems to have grab the spotlight.
France forward Nkunku is reportedly a top target for Bayern Munich with their young forward Mathys Tel expected to make a switch to Stamford Bridge.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea are open to selling Nkunku during the current transfer window but have set a steep asking price of approximately £65 million. Nkunku arrived at Chelsea in 2023 from RB Leipzig for a fee exceeding €60 million (£50 million), are the Blues are looking at securing a substantial return on their investment.

However, it looks like Bayern Munich are not prepared to go all out for the France international and would rather continue with their current squad.
While addressing the speculation, Eberl downplayed the likelihood of a deal for the French international.
“We have a squad that is sufficiently equipped in terms of quantity and quality. We have no interest in doing anything in January,” he told Spox.
Reports suggest Chelsea and Bayern have entered discussions regarding separate deals for Nkunku and Bayern’s 19-year-old forward, Mathys Tel. However, Bayern remain unwilling to part ways with the promising talent.
“Mathys Tel? We’re extremely happy with our squad”, Eberl added.
Nkunku remains an important player at Stamford Bridge under Enzo Maresca, however, he is placed second on the striker’s list with Nicolas Jackson preferred upfront.
