Alison rejects Juventus move, plan for final contract year revealed
Alisson Becker has reportedly reject the opportunity to join Juventus this summer, with the Brazilian shot-stopper expected to remain in England.
Liverpool’s goalkeeping situation has generated plenty of speculation in recent months, with Giorgi Mamardashvili expected to lead the team next season under a new manager, and Becker likely to leave for first team opportunities.
Juventus are reportedly making a serious attempt to lure Alisson to Turin as he’s viewed as a cornerstone signing for a new era.
The Serie A giants were attracted by his experience, pedigree and perceived availability as Liverpool prepared for the eventual transition to Mamardashvili.

According to ESPN Brazil, Juventus approached Alisson in April and presented a three-year contract proposal.
The report states that Alisson was receptive to the sporting project outlined by the Italian side and was open to the possibility of a move at that stage.
However, things have changed as the Brazilian wants to remain at Liverpool and see out his current contract, which runs until 2027.
Importantly, ESPN noted that this decision is unrelated to Arne Slot’s departure from Liverpool. Discussions over Alisson’s future and his willingness to stay had already begun before the manager left the club.
Alisson will now spend the 2026/27 campaign at Anfield and then decide whether to extend his stay or leave as a free agent in the summer of 2027.
The Brazilian suffered some injury setback during the recent campaign but still managed 35 appearances, matching his total from the previous season.
He also recorded 13 clean sheets and remains one of the most adored goalkeepers in world football.
