Arsenal Star Keen on Leaving Emirates Stadium, Sets Sights on Dream Club, Real Madrid

Arsenal are likely to lose one of their brightest players to Spanish giants Real Madrid despite the club’s success in the past few seasons.

Despite failing to win silverware in the last two seasons, Arsenal have challenged for the Premier League title but lost out to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side.

The Gunners are slugging it out with Liverpool this season and are hopeful they’ll overtake Arne Slot’s relentless team. However, they might lose William Saliba to Real Madrid in the summer.

Arsenal centre-back William Saliba has been in fine form for a long time, and his performances have caught the attention of teams such as Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

According to Sky Sports, Real Madrid officials have already held talks with the French centre-back over a move to La Liga.

The report claims Madrid are ready to pay a world-record fee to sign the Arsenal defender, and the player is keen on a move to join *Los Blancos*.

Saliba is particularly looking forward to playing alongside his France international teammate Kylian Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabéu. The report mentions Real Madrid as Saliba’s “dream” club, which is concerning news for the Gunners.

Madrid are currently going through a defensive crisis, with all their senior centre-backs injured.

Saliba has a contract until the summer of 2027 at the Emirates Stadium, and Madrid believe he will be a perfect fit for their new-look defense. The Spanish giants are looking to move on from the era of Éder Militão, David Alaba, and Antonio Rüdiger.

Surprisingly, Saliba is not the only Premier League player being chased by the La Liga club. Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, has also emerged as a top target.
