Arsenal top target holds lengthy talks with current club chairman
Arsenal’s hope of signing Newcastle sensation Alexander Isak has been given a huge boost with the forward spotted having a conversation with Newcastle chairman, Yasir Al Rumayyan.
Isak has taken the Premier League by storm, putting up impressive performance every match day.
His form have attracted interest from Arsenal who are willing to let go of some players to accommodate Isak in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
The Swedish striker, a £120million gem in Arteta’s eyes, found himself the centre of attention from PIF’s financial maestro Al Rumayyan following a stalemate with Brighton.
Isak, flanked by his family, engaged in an extensive post-match dialogue with Al Rumayyan right on the St James’ Park turf.
Though their conversation has not been made public, there are indications it’s about Isak’s experience in the Premier League and his future.
Reports from the Mirror claims Isak stands to see his earnings skyrocket should he join a Champions League heavyweight.
However, Newcastle United are willing to keep him as they plan to have another shot at Champions League football after failing to secure the top four spot this season.
Arsenal have reportedly prepare a bid for Isak and would contact Newcastle United during the summer transfer window.
